Delicious Applesauce

Instructions
I try to use organic apples that haven’t been sprayed with pesticides. We have our own unsprayed apples in abundance so it’s easy for me
If I didn’t have organic apples I would wash them really well in a vinegar rinse to remove anything harmful.
I cut the apples and remove the core and seeds but I don’t peel them. This saves so much time and creates a natural pink tint to your applesauce
I then place them in a large pan and add a little water just enough to cover the bottom of the pan. I cover them and slowly simmer them until they are soft and can be mashed. I remove them from the pan and put them through my food processor. The skin gets pulverized and no one knows that I didn’t peel the apples. I add a little sugar and cinnamon to taste.
It is so delicious served warm and I also can it in a water bath canner for winter.
